Our wedding venue Hengrave Hall, wants to make your dreams a reality. From the moment you arrive on the morning of your wedding, you will be greeted and whisked off to prepare for your forthcoming nuptials. Whilst our team are busy preparing for the ceremony and celebrations that lie ahead.

Get ready in style

Our Queen Elizabeth Chamber, provides the most picturesque setting to start your preparations. This timeless suite is complete with luxurious furniture, four poster bed and a wet room, along with far reaching views across the formal gardens. The private location within the house, makes it a magnificent place to sit back, sip on a glass of champagne and enjoy the start of your special day.

The Queen Elizabeth Chamber is filled with bright light and airy tones, which create such a serene and calming environment perfect for those all important preparation photos.

On the other side of the house, you will find the Blue Chamber, complete with its own wet room, snooker table, Chess board, wide screen TV and PlayStation. With a large corner sofa, it is another perfect location with views overlooking the stunning driveway making it possible to watch your guests arrive. The room itself has a relaxed environment perfect for pre ceremony preparation and where your immediate wedding party can enjoy beverages and snacks whilst creating an amazing back drop for your photos.

Let’s get married

Hengrave Hall offers many different options available for your ceremony. The Church of St John Lateran lies just a stones throw away from the main house and is available for Roman Catholic, Methodist and Baptist weddings. It can also play host to Church of England blessings (following a civil ceremony).

If you are looking to get married outside, we have the perfect ceremony area. With breath-taking views over the lake, you need look no further for the ceremony location of your dreams. We are able to host both civil ceremonies and blessings by the lake.

For those wanting to make use of the hall itself, the spectacular Banqueting Hall is situated in the heart of the main house. With the grand entrance all the way down the wooden staircase, often adorned with stunning floral arrangements and a picturesque bay window. It is the ideal location for you to share your nuptials with your guests.

If you are looking for a more intimate affair, the Library and Dining Room are also licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

All of our ceremony spaces have a capacity of 140 guests (excluding the Library and Dining Room).

Raise a glass

With endless outside space our Wedding Venue Hengrave Hall offers something for everyone whatever the time of year. In the cooler, winter months, guests can be welcomed in to the warmth of the main house into one of our many reception rooms, with guests greeted with a seasonal mulled wine – the smell drifting through the Hall.

If the weather allows, the grandeur of the inner courtyard, offers an intimate space. Very popular with pre-ceremony drinks reception or a cocktail hour after the wedding breakfast before evening festivities kick off!

Our most popular space, our sun-kissed West Terrace, with immaculately mowed lawns. Is surrounded by the sweet smell of David Austin Roses and an abundance of Lavender, complete with a feature water fountain. The photo opportunities here for you and your guests are endless and many opt for their drinks reception to be held here. A selection of lawn games, are included and are a great way to entertain the variance of guests, whilst they mingle for drinks and canapés. This allows you both to sneak off for some photos, knowing your guests are being looked after and entertained.

Let’s eat

For the wedding breakfast, the Long Gallery is a firm favourite for many guests, with its white wooden panelling and crystal chandeliers, the room offers the most wonderful space for you and your guests to enjoy a sumptuous wedding breakfast for up to 140 people.

If you are looking for a more intimate dining experience, then our Dining Room and Banqueting Hall can seat up to 50 people, so the choice really is yours. In addition, our courtyard in the centre of the house is a very popular location in the Summer months to play host to a wedding breakfast (please note a supplement fee is payable). It offers our couples the feel of a destination wedding but in the middle of the English countryside, a dream come true for many (of course we have the Long Gallery on stand by should the great British weather not allow).

The catering, hospitality and event management has been carefully selected to reflect the unique qualities of our exclusive venue. Milsom Catering, our exclusive caterers draw on over sixty years experience and knowledge to deliver the very best in service, food and wine. With a highly commendable reputation in East Anglia, and beyond Milsom Catering have been working closely with Hengrave Hall since we opened in 2009.

Their experienced events team, work with the Hengrave Hall team, to provide the very best service for our couples, ensuring every detail and aspect of your special day is covered. Milsom Catering, are not just event managers on the day, they will be there throughout your planning stages. From the moment you book Hengrave Hall, to overseeing the excellent execution on the day. Always there to answer any questions beforehand, guiding you through the plans to meeting and liaising with your suppliers. Time to party

Once the formalities of the day have finished, the party can really begin! Throw open the doors to the Banqueting Hall – with the dazzling black and white dance floor, your choice of music and wonderful additional lighting. This really is a room like no other; the beautiful bay window and the magnificent minstrel’s gallery become a sea of colour over the dance floor. The bar at Hengrave is perfectly positioned next to the Long Gallery and Banqueting Hall, central to the West Terrace gardens. This allows your guests to experience the different spaces as if it is one.

Why not finish the day with a moment that guests will never forget? A stunning firework display on the West Terrace will provide a wow factor for your guests and another perfect photo opportunity to finish the day!

So to bed

There are 21 magnificent bedrooms at Hengrave Hall, which can be booked for you and your guests. With 15 luxurious bedrooms in the Hall itself, the majority of which have four poster beds. They are all furnished with crisp white linen and modern bathroom facilities. Additionally within the estate, there is the Walled Gardens for you and your guests to make use of on the night of the celebrations.

All of your overnight guests will gather the following morning in the Walled Gardens Dining Room, overlooking the delightful orchard and meadows. A wonderful opportunity to reflect on the celebrations its those closest to you.

Hengrave Halls sister property, All Saints Hotel is located just a four minute drive from the Hall. It’s fabulous location that offers the perfect place to host those additional guests, needing rooms on the night of the wedding, or hosting you and your guests the night before your special day.

Complete with 41 en-suite bedrooms, 18 hole golf course (green fees apply), a state of the art gymnasium, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (all complimentary to residents, over 16 years old only) and a fabulous Health Hub Spa. Offering those all important pre wedding pampers. All Saints has something for everyone! The View; a 2* AA Rosette Restaurant really does live up to its name! With far reaching views across the 18 hole golf course, offers the perfect location to host a delicious rehearsal dinner. If you would rather something more casual, why not just enjoy drinks on the terrace in the Summer, the choice is yours!

The team at All Saints Hotel can also assist with advising on arranging shuttle coach/ minibus journeys for your guests. Then they can really enjoy all that Hengrave Hall has to offer without the worry of taxis.
